An Oakland University graduate (duel majors in accounting & finance), William has over 30 years of experience in the personal finance industry. He strives to maintain a company built on integrity, where the client comes before profit. William is incredibly passionate about educating others and helping them realize the benefits and fulfillment of home ownership.
William is a Philadelphia native who laid roots in Kansas City. In his spare time this self-proclaimed “outdoor man” can be found hiking or running. He also enjoys building things, flying airplanes and spending time with his family.

Loan Officer
Chris McDonald is a loan officer at WPL Mortgage Solutions with over two decades of experience in real estate and finance. Specializing in Conventional, FHA, and VA loans, as well as small acreages and rental properties, Chris draws on his background as a Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser to provide clients with expert advice. His previous work with major financial institutions and his retail experience honed his strong communication and customer service skills, making him approachable, attentive, and adaptable to clients’ needs.
Outside of his professional role, Chris is dedicated to giving back. He actively volunteers with a non-profit supporting widows and orphans in developing countries, participates in mission trips, and donates his time to Klassic Kloset, a local charitable organization.

Born in Guanajuato, Mexico, Sonia overcame the challenge of learning English after moving to the U.S. at age seven, a testament to her resilience and determination. This perseverance shines through in her work, where she is known for her dependability, self-motivation, and trustworthiness. Beyond her professional role, Sonia is actively involved in her children’s education and sports, balancing family commitments with her career.

Before entering the mortgage industry, Amy worked as a Senior Software Test Engineer, leading QA teams in high-stakes environments where accuracy and accountability were critical. Her background in software automation and cross-functional collaboration gives her a unique edge in managing
complex processes with clarity and precision.
Amy is known for her exceptional attention to detail, ability to solve problems quickly, and
her calm, reassuring approach when guiding clients through the home loan process. She’s

Originally from Kansas City, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, exploring local

As the former owner and operator of the Kansas City branch of APPS Paramedical, Trina spent 18 years building lasting partnerships with clients and professionals alike—growing the office from $200K to $1.4 million in annual sales. Her proven track record of leadership, problem-solving, and customer care now drives her mission to help families navigate the home loan process with clarity and confidence.
Known for her integrity, adaptability, and unmatched work ethic, Trina thrives in fast-paced environments and builds strong relationships that last. She excels in both the big picture and the details—whether she’s guiding first-time buyers or assisting seasoned homeowners with financing solutions tailored to their needs.
